Undergraduate students of St Agnes College in Mangaluru boycotted their semester examinations on October 12, protesting against the decision to hold tests during Dasara holidays. Backed by ABVP, the students approached the Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner for intervention. The protest continued outside the campus as examinations proceeded for students who chose to appear.
