Damage to Delhi’s Old Rao Tula Ram (RTR) flyover has triggered severe traffic congestion on NH-48, disrupting journeys between Mahipalpur, Dhaula Kuan, Vasant Vihar and the airport. The closure of a key carriageway has pushed motorists towards alternative routes, adding pressure to nearby roads and Delhi Cantonment. The Public Works Department has completed the repair work, and the flyover is expected to reopen on Monday after an inspection. Delhi Traffic Police has advised motorists to use alternative routes, allow extra travel time and call 1095 for assistance.
