A Division Bench comprising Justice Vivek Singh Thakur and Justice Ranjan Sharma dismissed the appeal filed by Shyam Veer against his conviction under Section 6 of the POCSO Act and Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code. Finding no merit in the appeal, the Division Bench dismissed the appeal and affirmed the judgment of conviction dated 25.03.2022, and order of sentence dated 28.03.2022, passed by the Special Court at Kinnaur.
