A Bhandup jeweller and his friend were allegedly robbed of Rs 12 lakh by six men in Airoli after being lured with a promise of discounted gold biscuits. Three of the accused allegedly posed as cops, assaulted the duo with wooden batons and fled with the cash and a blank cheque book. Rabale police registered a zero FIR and launched a manhunt for the accused.
