Former England wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow slammed England and the ECB for omitting Yorkshire all-rounder George Hill from the England Lions’ T20 and 50-over squads for November’s West Indies A series. Highlighting Hill’s batting, bowling and fielding abilities, Bairstow called the decision an “Absolute joke!” Hill previously earned a Lions call-up in May 2025 and has taken 178 first-class wickets.
