On Friday, tragedy struck on the Samruddhi Highway near Dhamangaon railway station as a truck collided with a Bolero pickup truck. This horrific accident resulted in seven fatalities and left 19 people injured. Emergency responders provided initial treatment at Dhamangaon Rural Hospital before transferring those wounded to a specialized institution; tragically, two were declared dead on arrival. Investigations are currently underway to determine the cause of this disaster.
