James Harden agreed to a three-year, $97 million contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Aug. 20, 2026, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. The 11-time All-Star’s deal includes a 2028-29 player option and trade kicker. Harden averaged 20.5 points and 7.7 assists in 26 games for Cleveland after arriving from the Clippers in February. His career earnings now reach $511 million.
