Sterlite Technologies reported record quarterly revenue and profit, driven by strong AI-led demand for optical connectivity and data centre solutions. The company achieved a net debt-free balance sheet, secured a record order book and strengthened its AI-ready infrastructure portfolio.
SBI Life Insurance reported a 22% YoY rise in June-quarter profit to Rs 720 crore, driven by robust growth in new business and renewal premiums. Gross written premium rose 20%, while value of new business climbed 29%. The insurer also reported higher embedded value, improved persistency and steady growth in assets under management.
FMCG major Tata Consumer Products on Friday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 427 crore for the April-June quarter of FY27, marking a nearly 28% year-on-year (YoY) rise from the Rs 334 crore net profit reported in the same period last year.
ACC reported a 61% YoY decline in June-quarter profit to Rs 147 crore as lower cement volumes, weaker operating margins and planned maintenance hit earnings. Revenue also fell, though the company saw improved trade sales, higher premium product mix and continued progress on capacity expansion and its merger with Ambuja Cements.
