Safety, inclusion and cultural diversity are among the key factors influencing Indian students choosing Canada for higher education, according to a survey of international students. The survey found that priorities differed across nationalities, with employment opportunities, immigration pathways and research opportunities ranking higher for some groups. Overall, 83% of respondents identified Canada as their preferred higher education destination. Programme offerings, institutional reputation and location were also among the factors influencing students’ choice of institution.
