Aiden Dombrowski, a 19-year-old University of Georgia student and former Northgate runner, was charged with battery after a high school cross-country race attack in Newnan. Police say he wore an East Coweta jersey, came from the woods and confronted a runner. Dombrowski later surrendered, called the incident a joke and described the runner as an acquaintance.
