In a bid to enhance hygiene standards, the Mumbai Central Division of Western Railway conducted an extensive cleanliness campaign from September 21 to 24, successfully collecting more than 10 tonnes of waste with contributions from railway personnel and travelers. Notable measures included targeted cleanliness operations at the Surat Coach Care Centre and outreach activities aimed at educating local households on waste disposal and composting.
