Uttar Pradesh RERA has provided a four-month extension for eligible real estate projects, taking into consideration the geopolitical situation in the Middle East and its repercussions on the industry. This newfound leeway allows project registration validity and completion deadlines to be extended until October 2026. Automatic extensions will be granted to qualifying projects post-verification; however, those with Completion or Occupancy Certificates are excluded from this relief.
