Russian governor Yuri Slyusar said around 50 drones were destroyed over the region and the strike forced the refinery to temporarily suspend operations. He said there were no reports of casualties there. In Ulyanovsk, eight people were injured after another drone attack damaged industrial and civilian infrastructure, Governor Alexei Russkikh said. The region is home to a major electronics plant.
