Uber is cutting about 3,300 jobs, roughly 10% of its workforce, but chief executive Dara Khosrowshahi’s email to staff carries a second decision for everyone who stays. Uber is ending work from home for all but 1% of employees, asking remote staff to move to an office near their team. The three-day hybrid policy stays, and Uber will enforce it, with global teams concentrated in New York and San Francisco.
