Excavations at Smyrna Agora uncovered three new rooms from Late Antiquity. Two rooms featured mosaic floors, and the third had a marble floor. Unseen wall paintings were also found around the Agora and Theatre areas. These discoveries help trace a 150-meter Roman water channel. Researchers are investigating the channel’s source and its ancient water supply.
