Bryce Harper did things a bit differently on his road to pro baseball, leaving high school early and earning his GED to go to the College of Southern Nevada. The ruling made him eligible for the 2010 MLB Draft at age 17. Harper went on to have a historic junior college season before the Washington Nationals made him the first overall pick, and he’s gone on to have a career that has seen him win two MVP awards and make nine All-Star teams.
