Ten years ago, Google put one ordinary camera on the back of a phone and let software do the rest. The Pixel look that followed, lifted shadows and held highlights, became what every phone photo looked like, whoever made the phone. A decade on, people have tired of it, and the Pixel that set the default is now the one finally handing the choice back.
