Tamil Nadu is preparing to launch the ‘One Degree, Six Skills’ programme for undergraduate students in 181 government arts and science colleges from January 2027. The initiative will allow students to learn one job-oriented skill every semester alongside their degree. The programme will focus on practical assessment, expert training, industry partnerships, internships and placement opportunities.
