‘Seaport’: Heavy rain leaves Jewar airport waterlogged, sparks online jibes

Heavy rain caused temporary waterlogging near Noida International Airport’s terminal and parking area. Online mockery followed visuals of rainwater collected in the parking zone and passage. Airport authorities stated the waterlogging was temporary and cleared within thirty minutes. The incident occurred less than two months after the airport’s inauguration on March 28, 2026. Flight operations and overall airport functioning remained unaffected by the brief water accumulation.
