SBI Funds Management shares drop 2% after first earnings since IPO; net profit up 3% to Rs 873 crore

SBI Funds Management saw profit rise 3.3% to Rs 873 crore year-on-year. Revenue from operations increased 15.2% to Rs 1,146 crore from last year. Assets under management grew eleven percent to Rs 12.6 trillion. The company maintained its position as the largest mutual fund manager. Investor base and scheme offerings also expanded during the quarter.
