He also facilitated the execution of three mechanisation initiatives worth Rs 1,580.36 crore, intended to boost the port’s cargo handling capabilities. In addition, the port marked the planting of its one-millionth tree, reinforcing its environmental sustainability commitment and establishing Paradip as a crucial maritime gateway in eastern India.
