Samsung has launched the P9 and P7 portable SSDs in India, its first external drives with USB4. The flagship P9 hits 4,000MB/s reads and 3,800MB/s writes, double the older T9, and supports 12K direct recording. The P7 targets everyday use with 2-metre drop testing. Prices start at Rs 27,839, going up to Rs 259,199 for the 8TB P9, with India sales starting the first week of September.
