Balangir police apprehended seven alleged dacoits and recovered stolen valuables worth over Rs 3.5 crore. The massive haul included gold, silver, and cash, hidden in various concealed locations. This recovery successfully solved a recent armed dacoity at a businessman’s residence in Sindhekela. Investigators also linked the gang to other recent robberies and temple thefts in the region. The accused, from Rayagada and Kalahandi districts, were operating across multiple districts.
