Rs 11.65 crore refund for Bengaluru homebuyers: Why NCDRC ruled against developer

The National consumer commission ordered a builder to refund homebuyers for seven delayed projects. Homebuyers approached the commission after the developer failed to start construction for months. The commission found the developer deficient in service for not handing over possession. The builder must refund the entire principal amount with nine percent interest. Payments are due within forty-five days, or higher interest will apply.
