Haryana MP Kartikeya Sharma raised rail demands in Rajya Sabha. He sought new services and expanded existing ones for commuters and defense personnel. Sharma requested a halt for train number 20409/20410 at Julana railway station. He also proposed converting a special service into a daily intercity superfast express. A new daily superfast express between Chandigarh and Barmer was also demanded.
