Shares of fertiliser companies rallied up to 13% on Tuesday after Russian President Vladimir Putin assured India of uninterrupted fertiliser supplies amid the West Asia crisis. Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT), Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers (RCF), Paradeep Phosphates and Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals gained as investors assessed the potential boost from assured supplies.

Analysts said the recent rise in Treasury yields partly reflected expectations that AI-driven growth could push the Fed to keep rates elevated.
