At the trailer launch of ‘Hunkkaar: The Roar’, the actress said patriarchal attitudes are deeply ingrained and can be internalised by both men and women. She also recalled being the only woman in meetings and seeing women’s perspectives dismissed. Starring Aneet Padda, Fatima and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, the series premieres on JioHotstar on September 25, 2026.
