Andrew Tulloch, the AI researcher Meta reportedly chased with a $1.5 billion pay package, is leaving Meta for Anthropic after less than a year. The Thinking Machines Lab co-founder, who worked in Meta Superintelligence Labs’ TBD Lab, reportedly waited for the Muse AI agent launch before quitting. He joins Anthropic’s inference and performance team next week, amid an AI talent war pulling top researchers across OpenAI, Google and Meta.
