A private sleeper bus, registered in Firozabad, faced 12 traffic challans within three months. Nine of these violations occurred on the Yamuna Expressway, mostly for overspeeding. The bus driver and conductor were arrested after a 16-year-old student alleged gang rape on August 4. Police investigations revealed the vehicle had accumulated significant fines for rule breaches. CCTV footage from the expressway is being preserved for investigators.
