The Gautam Buddh Nagar administration has asked schools in Noida and Greater Noida to restrict smart and digital board use after parents flagged prolonged screen exposure among students. Primary classes will have a 30-minute limit, while upper-primary students can use screens for up to 60 minutes daily. Schools must also promote breaks, traditional teaching methods, outdoor activities and regular eye checks.
