Nifty trades tad above 24,200 level; European shares decline

The benchmark indices continued to trade with limited losses in afternoon trade, weighed down by a rise in crude oil prices following the expiry of the US-Iran ceasefire and growing uncertainty over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. The Nifty traded tad above the 24,200 mark. IT, FMCG & metal shares declined while auto, oil & gas and pharma stocks managed to trade in the green.
