NCRTC will procure solar power for the Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor. A 110 MW solar plant will meet nearly sixty percent of electricity needs. This plant, costing Rs 450 crore, will be commissioned within twenty-four months. It aims to reduce operational costs and dependence on conventional power sources. The project is expected to significantly cut carbon emissions annually.
