NCERT has reconstituted the team tasked with preparing new Political Science textbooks for Classes 11 and 12, with emphasis on Indian knowledge systems, cultural rootedness and inclusion. The panel includes several academics, including members with documented associations with the RSS, ABVP and BJP. The Class 11 book is due by November, followed by Class 12 next year.
