Peyton Watson, 23, leaves the Denver Nuggets for the Cleveland Cavaliers in a mid-August sign-and-trade also touching the Clippers, Wizards and Kings. Cleveland sends out Max Strus and Tre Mann while adding Watson and forward Cam Whitmore. Watson signs a four-year, $88 million contract with a player option and trade kicker, joining Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen in Cleveland’s projected starting five.
