Navy height restrictions necessitated this significant reduction in the building’s proposed elevation. A new four-storey structure with a two-floor basement will now be constructed. This revised project has received administrative and financial approval for sixty-seven crore rupees. The Transport Commissioner’s office will finally have a dedicated headquarters after eighty-five years.
