A 17-year-old Naga boy was killed in an alleged ambush by suspected Kuki militants. This incident occurred in Manipur’s Tamenglong district on Monday morning. Tensions between the Naga and Kuki communities have escalated following this event. Five Kuki villagers were also killed in separate incidents involving suspected Naga militants. Several houses were torched in Naga and Kuki-inhabited areas across the state.
