Traffic from Navi Mumbai to Mumbai faced disruptions for approximately 30 minutes due to a car fire. At around 7.30pm, the hatchback driver noticed smoke and pulled over safely. The fire brigade arrived within 15 minutes to extinguish the flames. The driver, Sumit Bhikaji Kadam, was unharmed after escaping the situation. Following the fire’s extinguishment, traffic resumed normal movement after the vehicle was towed away.
