Men hired by in-laws attempted to abduct a Bengaluru woman after her inter-caste marriage. The driver was instructed to run over anyone who tried to intervene during the abduction. Alert citizens pursued the vehicle for two kilometers, eventually blocking it and apprehending three occupants. The woman alleged her mother-in-law threatened her and demanded she return to Rajasthan. Police are also seeking to arrest the woman’s parents-in-law for their alleged involvement.
