A private company salesman bravely jumped into the swollen Betwa river. He swam nearly 150 meters to save a Class 11 student. The student had jumped from a 30-foot-high bypass bridge on Tuesday morning. Local youths assisted in pulling the unconscious girl from the water. She is now stable and receiving treatment at Vidisha district hospital.
