The move comes after the EC froze the party’s familiar name and flowers-and-grass symbol amid the internal dispute over control of the TMC. With the Supreme Court set to hear Banerjee’s challenge to the EC order, the faction is racing to familiarise voters with its new identity ahead of the polls.
