Ladakh administration will file closure reports in 25 violence-related cases. The administration also plans to initiate the election process for democratic institutions. Discussions were held with Leh Apex Body and Kargil Democratic Alliance representatives. Demands for an elected assembly and withdrawal of all cases were presented. A UT-level body framework will be developed under constitutional provisions.
