Karnataka SSLC exam fee hiked by 5% for 2026-27

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has increased SSLC examination fees by 5% for the 2026-27 academic year. First-time candidates will pay Rs 746, up from Rs 710. The revised fee structure also covers private and repeat candidates, with increases across registration, renewal and subject-wise examination fees. KSEAB said the hike was introduced to meet the expenses involved in conducting the examinations. The revised charges were announced through a circular issued on September 10.
