Jindal Stainless scouting Maharashtra site for Rs 40,000 crore plant

Jindal Stainless is identifying a site for its proposed Rs 40,000-crore stainless steel manufacturing facility. The company expects clarity on land acquisition within one or two quarters. This new plant will have a capacity of four million tonnes per annum. It will produce specialized steel grades for emerging critical sectors. The Maharashtra government will expedite necessary approvals and provide fiscal incentives.
