A Division Bench of Justices Sujit Narayan Prasad and Sanjay Prasad also directed the husband to create fixed deposits of Rs 25 lakh each in the names of the son and daughter for their education, marriage and other needs. The Court held that the wife’s maintenance must be assessed after considering the husband’s real earning capacity.
