Jammu and Kashmir declared fully literate, achieves 98.43% literacy rate under ULLAS

Jammu and Kashmir has achieved a literacy rate of 98.43 per cent and has been declared fully literate under the ULLAS-BSK initiative. Education Minister Sakina Itoo hailed the milestone as a collective achievement of teachers, volunteers, officials and learners, while stressing that the focus must now shift towards lifelong learning and continued educational progress.
