Lewis Hamilton called his Bahrain Grand Prix podium finish bittersweet after recovering from 17th place to take third in Malaysia. The Ferrari driver had dropped around a minute behind the leaders after starting on soft tyres in difficult conditions. He then fought his way through the field, but felt Ferrari had missed an opportunity. Hamilton also praised his team and said the weekend showed progress with the car.
