IndiGo parent InterGlobe Aviation is reportedly in early talks with Brazil’s Embraer for a potentially large order of E2 regional jets. The aircraft could replace IndiGo’s ATR turboprops and add capacity. A deal could be worth billions of dollars and become Embraer’s biggest order in India, while supporting its plans for aircraft manufacturing in the country.
