In Argentina, a family rescued 5,000 ancient olive trees from development and built a sanctuary instead of letting them become firewood

In Mendoza, ancient olive trees are threatened by urban growth, resulting in many being chopped for firewood. To combat this, the Cicero family has successfully relocated over five thousand of these historic trees to a dedicated sanctuary. The initiative began when Emilio Cicero saved three thousand trees from destruction on his almond farm.
