Josep Pujiula i Vila embarked on his tree-shaping journey along the Fluvià River in Catalonia back in 1980. Over the years, his imaginative vision transformed into a vast maze of interconnected structures including tunnels and towers. By 2001, seven towering constructions reached impressive heights of around 100 feet, while the labyrinthine paths stretched over a mile.
