Ramanand Sagar’s iconic 1987 TV series ‘Ramayan’ is getting a 60-minute behind-the-scenes documentary helmed by his grandson Shiv Sagar. Featuring unseen footage, archival videos, retakes, anecdotes and interviews with the original cast and crew, the documentary is currently in post-production and is planned for Diwali week. Titled ‘Behind The Scenes of the Ramayan’ for now, it will stream on Tilak’s YouTube channel and screen at the Ramanand Sagar Museum in Karjat, alongside Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Ramayana: Part 1’.
